Lady Gaga is killing two birds with one stone.
Not only is she headlining Coachella, the pop star is also slated to begin working on upcoming film A Star is Born this week.
Gaga plans to shoot scenes for the movie with director and co-star Bradley Cooper on April 18 and 19. Filming will take place at the festival’s fairgrounds. Warner Brothers’ Pictures wrote on their ticketing website that the scenes are supposed to depict a Country Western music concert.
Fans are welcomed to be a part of the film and for only $10, can purchase tickets. Attendees are encouraged to dress in their most comfortable denim and boots. Proceeds will support Gaga’s Born this Way Foundation, which aims to inspire youth and build better communities.
The movie marks the 31-year-old’s first major feature role and Cooper’s directorial debut. It is also the third remake of A Star is Born. The original 1937 film starred Janet Gaynor and Fredric March and was remade in 1954 with James Mason and Judy Garland, then yet again in 1976 with Kris Kristofferson and Barbra Streisand.
“Be in the audience as Bradley Cooper and Lady Gaga films scenes on the actual Coachella stages. Help cheer and applaud their performances on camera,” the website shared. There will be exciting items to raffle off. iPads, Warner Bros Studio Tours, autograph opportunities and a pair of tickets to Coachella Weekend 2!”
Gaga’s announcement comes just after the singer debuted her latest track “The Cure” on the second night of her festival gig.
A Star is Born will hit theaters September 28, 2018.
