It was three years ago that artist Lady Gaga tweeted back a fellow fan who was apparently curious about how she felt about singer and actress Selena Gomez.
Well, according to Gaga, Gomez’s song ‘Love You Like A Love Song’ is one of her favorites!

We agree that ‘Love You Like A Love Song’ is a brilliant piece of disco-synth-pop.
In fact, giving it the title of best pop song of 2011 is quite accurate.
Let’s look at the facts. It was certified 4x platinum in the U.S. and was a global smash charting in the top 20 in numerous territories. Critics even compared it to Donna Summer’s disco works most notably ‘I Feel Love’.
Technically, this was Selena Gomez during her Selena Gomez & the Scene days but even when critics dismissed her because of her Disney background she ignored them and kept going.
Since then, she has grown much both personally and musically (check her latest album “Revival” and another disco-inspired song ‘Me & The Rhythm‘).
But some fan favorite songs actually come from that era including the empowerment song ‘Who Says’, that was positively received due to its simple acoustic sound; something she hadn’t readily done before.
Whatever the case, we absolutely love the girl power going on here (even if it was three years ago). It goes to show that Lady Gaga is a fine class act and has always appreciated female talent.
