In before the break-up rumours, Lady Gaga’s recent Instagram post confirms that the two are still together but are taking a break from their relationship. The reason is due to ‘long-distance’ and ‘complicated schedules’ running through their individual lives according to the singer.
The Bad Romance singer posted an image of them on Instagram captioning:
“Taylor and I have always believed we are soulmates. Just like all couples we have ups and downs, and we have been taking a break. We are both ambitious artists, hoping to work through long-distance and complicated schedules to continue the simple love we have always shared. Please root us on. We’re just like everybody else and we really love each other.”
The pair have not been seen out and about together lately at events as they have both parted their ways. The Grammy-award-winner is supposedly recording new music for her album where the actor is busy on the set of a new episode for his TV show ‘Chicago Fire‘.
The Hollywood stars got engaged on Valentine’s Day in 2015 as Kinney, 35, proposed to his lover. The Poker Face singer publicly announced their engagement on Instagram posting a picture of her heart-shaped diamond ring. Lady Gaga captions “He gave me his heart on Valentine’s Day, and I said Yes!”.
Lady Gaga, 30, was spotted in Malibu last week driving a white Rolls-Royce as she recently passed a driving test. She was seen without her engagement ring which happened to be the same day as Kinney’s 35th birthday.
The chemistry all started on the set of Lady Gaga’s ‘You And I’ music video back in 2011 and they officially dated months after. “We had a good time. I think there was chemistry. It was a late shoot. We were shooting until 4 or 5 in the morning, something like that” states Kinney on the shoot of the music video for ‘You and I’. The 5-year relationship is off until further notice but as for now, both talented couples are now focusing on themselves. We are glad to confirm that there is no dramas between the two.
