Lana Del Rey has opened up on her struggles with anxiety in a new interview published by Billboard this week.
The 30-year-old ‘Honeymoon’ singer also opened up on her phobia of death as she explained how her anxiety has gotten progressively worse since finding fame 4 years ago upon the release of the surprise hit ‘Video Games’.
Upon the topic of the increasing frequency of her panic attacks, the singer says “I’ve always been prone to it”, adding: “I saw a therapist three times. But I’m really most comfortable sitting in that chair in the studio, writing or singing”.
The singer recently released her third LP ‘Honeymoon’ to critical and commercial success, debuting at #2 on the Billboard 200 in September and being described by Rolling Stone as “her most genuinely thrilling music ever”.
