Lana Del Rey releases official music video for ‘Lust For Life’

One month after the song’s release, Lana Del Rey has unveiled the official music video for her latest single ‘Lust For Life’. The single is a soft, edgy track in the style which we have become accustomed to hearing from the singer. It has already charted all over the world, reaching the top spot on charts in New Zealand and Greece.

As well as this, the song features The Weeknd and in doing so, is the first song from any of Lana’s albums to feature another artist. Although this is the first song of Lana’s to feature another artist, she has previously collaborated on three of The Weeknd’s songs. These include ‘Prisoner’, ‘Stargirl Interlude’ and ‘Party Monster’.

The video begins with what looks like a night sky full of stars, which eventually zooms in showing Lana. She is then joined by two dancers, and we see all three perform some simple dance moves. We then see Lana climb the ‘Hollywood Sign’, where Abel (The Weeknd) is there to help her up. The singers share some close moments before Lana runs along the top of the sign. Abel runs after her before Lana slides off into a field full of flowers. The camera then zooms out to show a picture of the earth.

If the music video is not enough for you, Lana previously released an official audio video for ‘Lust For Life’. This video shows the two singers sitting together on top of the ‘Hollywood Sign’.

As well as this, Lana recently released another new track called ‘Coachella – Woodstock In My Mind’. You can check out all the details here.
