Laura Trott and Jason Kenny are the Olympics golden couple. Last night they took home five gold medals between them.
Laura’s came from triumphant races in the women’s team pursuit and women’s omnium , becoming the first British woman to win four gold medals.
Jason took home three gold medals from the men Keirin, Men’s sprint and the Men’s team sprint.
This takes their combined total up to ten medals.

The couple who have been dating since the London 2012 Olympics,got engaged while sat at home on the sofa watching Eastenders.
They are not the first couple to shine at an Olympics. Before Rio, 230 couples who were either engaged, or married have had success . 66 of those medals have been golds.
Some have also won gold in the same sport at the same Games, most recently triathletes Jan Frodeno and Emma Snowsill at Beijing in 2008. One or two also have multiple golds – speed-skater Anni Friesinger with three, her husband Ids Postma one from 1988.
The couple plan to marry in September.
