We can still hear Natasha Bedingfield’s song, Unwritten play to the opening credits of the hit reality TV show The Hills, starring Lauren Conrad. She had just graduated from high school and was moving to Los Angeles to fulfill her dreams of working in fashion.
Lauren has certainly come a long way since her role on reality television. She’s a true entrepreneur launching her Kohl’s collection LC Lauren Conrad, as well as Paper Crown; a specialty line tailored for the contemporary market that features a romantic take on classic style. She’s also published several books – one being a novel called “L.A. Candy”, as well as a how-to guide for home entertainment called “Lauren Conrad Celebrate.”
It’s actually really hard to believe that the show aired May 31, 2006… but to celebrate a television show that had such a prominent spot on MTV, Lauren Conrad will be featured in a 10 year anniversary special titled, The Hills: That Was Then, This Is Now.
During the special, Lauren will be answering fan questions and explaining what it was like to be followed by cameras for such a long time.
“I am so excited to be returning home to MTV to commemorate the 10th anniversary of The Hills. Viewers watched me grow up and experienced milestones on Laguna Beach and The Hills – and now they will get a firsthand look at my life today. I can’t wait for you to see the special on Aug. 2!”
The special is set to air on MTV on August 2nd at 10PM.
