Liam Payne looks to be enjoying his down time away from One Direction in 2016; working with artists like Juicy J on new music – that we can’t wait to hear – and spending some time out of the spotlight, truly getting to soak in what it means to be on a hiatus.
However, much like One Direction fans, even Liam, Harry, Louis, and Niall know that there’s truly no such thing as a break from 1D (or social media). Liam resurfaced a bit last night with a few posts that made fans laugh, get emotional, and wish they had his bloody Snapchat username!
Liam’s first post seemed to be an ode to Shia LaBeouf’s look at a Berlin Film Festival a few years ago.
His next post made One Direction fans emotional as he posted a well known reblogged and retweeted photo of the boys at the beginning and the end of their first five years together – with a noticeable absence and a very changed Louis, Harry, Liam, and Niall.
The next one was not only interesting, but made everyone really want to know his Snapchat username. Most of his recent Instagram posts look like screen caps of his snapchat photos and although we haven’t seen what filters are on the app today – this looks like it could easily be one of them.
We’re intrigued Liam, very intrigued.
We also hope to see more of Liam on social media, while we know it’s a hiatus, we can’t help but hope that the boys will take use of their Instagram profiles and keep us up to date with some fun, interesting, and meaningful photos of the things they’re doing while they’re off the stage. It was once said that photographs are taken because they capture things you don’t want to lose; and we’d love to see what is important to the lads!
