Liam Payne has taken 2017 by storm, with his solo debut single “Strip That Down” receiving massive success. It’s gone platinum in eight countries, became a top 10 hit in the US and charted in the top five in four countries including the UK.
His latest release, “Bedroom Floor” shows potential to be an even bigger hit than Strip That Down. The track showcases Payne’s upper range in a beautiful, intriguing way. It has a “beachy” vibe, almost similar to the one of Zedd’s “Get Low” that Payne featured on from earlier this year. The chorus is somehow relaxed and upbeat at the same time – it’s definitely one to just let loose and jam out to. Not to mention Payne kills an impressive high note near the conclusion of the track!
The versatility he has shown in style and range between “Strip That Down” and “Bedroom Floor” proves to everyone doubting Payne’s vocal ability that there is nothing to be disappointed with. His voice and style fits perfectly with the song. In a way it is almost a mixture of both “Strip That Down” and “Get Low”.
“Bedroom Floor” was written by Charlie Puth and the pair have been teasing this collaboration for months. Charlie even wore a shirt with Payne’s face on at Capital’s Summertime Ball earlier this year!
Along with the premiere of the song, Liam Payne released the lyrics video for the track.
“Bedroom Floor” is available to stream on Apple Music and Spotify and available for purchase on iTunes.
