Liam Payne has been using his social media accounts, since One Direction has started their hiatus, to keep fans updated (a bit) on what he’s got going on. From photos of friends and his pup to a snap about Batman vs Superman – Liam seems to have been enjoying his down time so far.
Today, Liam took to social media to show that he’s taking part in Jamie’s Food Revoltuion – an organization that aims to give every child the access to healthy food.
The statement, that grabs attention as soon as you get to the website, states that we can work together to give everyone the basic human right of nutrition.
“Access to good, fresh, nutritious food is every child’s human right, but currently we’re failing our children. Millions of kids are eating too much of the wrong food, while millions more don’t get enough of the good stuff to let them grow and thrive. Liam’s photo caption encourages his fans to join him in signing up alongside Jamie Oliver to make these changes happen across the world, and it’s something we can all do to make a difference!
The lads of One Direction are charitable and giving in all circumstances, but it never fails to amaze us how they use their platform and circumstance to make a difference for others as often as they possibly can.
