Love was in the air for the Payne family this weekend as Ruth Payne, sister of One Direction’s Liam, tied the knot with her now-husband Thomas Gibbins.
Now, if our brother was a songwriter as talented as Liam is, we’d definitely ask him to put that talent to good use on our wedding day, and that’s exactly what Ruth and Thomas did. Months ago Liam was already rumoured to be working on a song for the couple’s first dance and earlier today Thomas shared a lovely picture of their first dance as a married couple with an even lovelier caption.

Sharing the lovely snap on Instagram, he wrote that he’ll never forget marrying his best friend and having his first dance to a song “brilliantly written” by our dear Liam. No, we’re not crying, there’s just something in our eye.
Both Ruth and Thomas shared a picture of their wedding shoot on their Instagrams as well and we think the couple looks absolutely beautiful and so in love that we’re kinda jealous.
So far, the world hasn’t been blessed with any footage of the song and though we’d love to hear it, we can’t blame the family for maybe wanting to keep this undoubtedly special song for themselves.
