Lindsey Stirling has unveiled the cinematic visual for her track ‘The Upside’ featuring Elle King.
Directed by Tom Teller and Brodin Plett, the action packed visual sees critically acclaimed violinist Lindsey prepare to go on a visit to the ‘Upside’ alongside a male colleague. Intertwined with scenes of Elle performing the song, we follow Lindsey as she goes on her thrilling adventure.
Lindsey is known for her striking music videos but ‘The Upside’ is quite possibly one of her best yet. The video is so dramatic that it could well be a feature length film. Not only is Lindsey a storyteller through her music, but she also shines with her creative visuals.

‘The Upside’ is taken from Lindsey’s newly released album, Artemis. The album, which was released on September 6, is inspired by anime and centres around Artemis, the goddess of the moon in ancient Greek mythology. Artemis represents “the fight in all of us to reclaim light back into our lives”, with Lindsey drawing parallels to her own life experiences as she overcomes obstacles to reclaim her happiness and strength.
