Although it’s only November, it’s safe to say that we are well and truly in the festive spirit thanks to Shane Henry and Maggie McClure.
The duo have teamed up to release ‘Christmastime Again’, which has just received its premiere on CelebSecrets. The song has an old school vibe to it, and will instantly make you feel a million times more Christmassy.
Of the track, McClure said: “‘Christmastime Again’ is reminiscent of the 50’s doo whop songs like The Drifters’ version of ‘White Christmas’ and Brenda Lee’s ‘Rocking Around The Christmas Tree’. The lyrics reinforce the real reason for the season using titles from holiday carols/classics we all know and love.”

Henry and McClure have already received recognition from high profile outlets including CNN, Huffington Post, MTV and CBS. The duo tour, write, record, and work together often. They have hundreds of shows under their belts including their performance of the Official Holiday Halftime Show and the National Anthem at Madison Square Garden for the NY Knicks in December 2015.
However, Henry and McClure are also respected performers in their own right. Henry is a singer, songwriter and guitarist originating from Oklahoma City. His musical journey began at the age of 19 when he opened for B.B. King on 30 national dates. Henry has since opened for many notable acts, including Etta James and Joe Bonamassa. His upcoming album Light in the Dark was fan-funded via Kickstarter.
McClure is a singer, songwriter and pianist who’s songs have been placed on shows such as Cougar Town, The Hills and Dr. Phil. She has performed more than 1000 shows throughout her career, an astonishing feat for any artist. McClure recently opened for Sara Bareilles, and her voice has featured on ABC Family/Freeform’s The Mistle-Tones, as well as Disney’s Violetta.
Individually, Henry and McClure have their own sound and ideas, but together, they complement each other perfectly. ‘Christmastime Again’ is a sweet song which puts the focus back on the true meaning of Christmas, and will leave you feeling all warm and fuzzy.
