Little Mix will be releasing their fifth album November 2018, with a proper single release in September. For now, the girl group have enticed fans with a musical appetizer in ‘Only You’ featuring American DJ’s Cheat Codes. So far the single has sold over 200,000+ units in the UK alone and peaked at a respectable #13, being certified Silver while charting in various European territories (Belgium, Hungary, Sweden, etc)  and the ARIA charts.

Although the entourage are getting ready for their new Q4 era opening, their fourth album Glory Days, spends its 93rd week on the Official UK charts for the date ending September 6th, 2018. Consequently they’ve overtaken their Get Weird album and smashed their own record with Glory Days, becoming the longest running girl group album on the official UK charts.

In March 2018, the group’s Glory Days album had already released another UK chart record in regards to being the longest-reigning top 40 girl group album ever. Accompanied with this feat comes 19 top 20 singles.

Earlier this year, Little Mix also became the UK girl group with the highest amount of multi-platinum hits (2x platinum) all including the #1 international hits ‘Black Magic‘ and ‘Shout Out To My Ex‘ in addition to the top 5 charting ‘Touch‘.

It’s been 7 years since Little Mix came into the spotlight after releasing their first back-to-back UK #1’s in 2011-2012 (Cannonball; Wings). They resurged massive public interest after the release of the 80’s inspired international hit ‘Black Magic’ which garnered multiple comparisons to Cyndi Lauper’s ‘Girls Just Wanna Have Fun’.

Critics compared Little Mix’s ‘Black Magic’ fun & bouncy attitude to that of Lauper’s ‘Girls Just Wanna Have Fun’.

A 2019 tour is expected as a follow up to their fifth album release later this year. The tour will follow the $42 million grossing Glory Days Tour and the Summer Hits Tour 2018 which finished at Bught Park in Scotland.
