Little Mix Could Break Another Major World Record – Here’s Why

After breaking the world record of becoming the first U.K. girl group to have a top five album debut in the states, Little Mix are set to potentially break another bigger record!

    Here’s the breakdown.

Little Mix currently have two top albums in the states, DNA and Salute. Both albums debuted and peaked at number 4 and 6, respectively.

If their third upcoming album, Get Weird debuts anywhere in the top ten (even top twenty or top thirty), they will be the first U.K. girl group to score three consecutive top ten albums on the U.S. Billboard 200 chart.

You’re probably thinking, how is that and where are the receipts?

Well ladies and gentlemen the Spice Girls may have sold millions of records worldwide, but their third album Forever only debuted and peaked at number 39.

It’s also important to realize that although their have been plenty of U.K. girl groups such as Atomic Kitten, Girls Aloud, All Saints, The Sugababes, etc, Little Mix have tackled the U.S. market more remarkably well (if at all).

We’re confidence the girls can secure another successful U.S. album charter, especially with the amazing success that ‘Black Magic’ has had so far in the states.

Overall this will be a great milestone for Little Mix and girl groups in general. It’ll also represent the mass amount of U.K. artists very well. It can be hard to overcome new music markets but with passion, confidence and new appeal, anything is possible.

As the girls of Little Mix would say, always be yourself.

You can pre-order your copy of Get Weird now on iTunes. Just a quick reminder that the official worldwide release date is set for November 6th.
