One Little Mix fan got the best gift ever for her twelfth birthday! Little Mix and McDonald’s partnered up for the #HelloGoodTimes campaign, which is all about making people happy and spreading positivity. One of the band’s biggest fans, Elise, was having her birthday party at McDonald’s. She was definitely not expecting the girls of Little Mix to pop in and serenade her! The girls were nervous beforehand since they wanted to nail their performance for Elise. They loved seeing Elise’s face light up during the surprise. As Jesy said, she was gobsmacked! After singing a lovely acapella version of Happy Birthday, the girls stayed for a while to meet Elise, take pictures, and eat some cake.
The girls went on to hold another surprise performance at McDonalds, this time in the style of a flash mob! They were kept hidden until the surprise, so not even the staff knew what was about to happen. The store was quiet when suddenly each of the girls’ faces appeared on the self-serve screens introducing themselves and the band. Then the lights dimmed, red fog poured out, and Little Mix jumped onto the store counter and started performing their latest single, Hair. It was a pretty small crowd, but they were full of energy and excitement for this impromptu concert.
Perrie Edwards chatted to Sugarscape about her experience performing at McDonalds. She loves the idea behind the #HelloGoodTimes campaign, and said: “I just think the whole campaign’s so cute; it’s about making people happy and making people feel good. It was adorable, especially when we did the performance.” The girls hung around their makeshift stage after the performance to talk to some of their fans.
Once again, Little Mix have shown their continuous love for their supportive Mixers. The girls genuinely care about their fans and will do anything to put a smile on their face- whether they’re five years old or twenty five years old. Little Mix is more than a girl group put on a pedestal. They’re all down to earth girls that love to have fun and interact with those who love their music. Thank you Little Mix, for providing unforgettable experiences for your fans time and time again. We’re sure they’ll be meeting and having fun with plenty more fans in the future!
