Los Angeles-based pop recording artist Lostboycrow releases his latest single “Waste of Time” featuring singer-songwriter Bea Miller via Sony’s RED MUSIC. The Dylan Bauld-produced (Halsey, Flor, Bea Miller) song, co-written by Bauld with both feature artists, serves as the second single release in support of Lostboycrow’s full-length debut album, Santa Fe, due in early 2019. The first song written for the album, “Waste of Time” (feat. Bea Miller) captures the artist’s excitement with heavenly synths, a roaring guitar solo, and a shared harmony with Bea Miller.
“It began as an attempt to will my flu-ridden body out of bed one frostbitten night in Santa Fe and
ended up being the first song written and recorded for the album,” explains Lostboycrow of the new
track. “It is a reminder to love the very act of something for what it is and with whom we share it. To
untangle our intentions and happiness from guessing at the future and enjoy something regardless
of where or what it might bring us.”
Santa Fe, New Mexico served as the backdrop for Lostboycrow’s full-length debut album, Santa Fe, due in early 2019. It closes one chapter and opens another for the artist born Chris Blair. At the onset of his touring career in 2011, New Mexico welcomed him with open arms at cosy coffee houses across the state, and the singer later enchanted audiences and critics nationwide when he toured alongside VÉRITÉ, K. Flay, and Flor, garnering acclaim from news outlets like Billboard, NYLON, and Pigeons & Planes along the way.
Lostboycrow has. impressively tallied over 150 million highlighted by the success
of “Powers,” Stay A Little Longer,” and “The Lost Boy” (feat. Skizzy Mars), which received
placements on notable Spotify playlists New Music Friday, Indie Pop, and Pop Chillout, to
name a few. The singer now boasts nearly 2 million monthly listeners and 54,000 subscribers.
