Louis Tomlinson has been taking in some new experiences during One Direction’s hiatus and May 28th brought him to Monaco for the 2016 Monaco Grand Prix.
The Monaco Grand Prix is held at the Circuit de Monaco every year, it’s a Formula 1 motor race that holds a spot as one of the most prestigious in the world alongside the Indy 500 and the 24 Hours of Le Mans. The event has some rich history that dates back to 1929 and makes it’s way through the course of war and the death of a prince (where the race was canceled for a year) that brings us to the glamorous race that it is today. Another interesting fact about this Grand Prix is the danger of the course and how it is the only Grand Prix that doesn’t meet FIA’s 190-mile minimum distance for a race.
Photos of Louis began making their way around social media this morning as he spent time at the Red Bull energy station and did some interviews! He was even seen having a chat with some other fans of the Grand Prix as well as some of the drivers and staff around the event. Louis is definitely breaking out of his comfort zone and experiencing some fun new things this year, and he’s looking absolutely smashing while doing so.
Social media accounts have began posting photos of him with the promise of their interviews being online later, so we’re looking forward to seeing those soon and hearing Louis’ input on the exciting race. We hope Louis enjoys his experience at the Grand Prix this weekend before he starts conditioning for his upcoming charity match with Soccer Aid!
