Louis Tomlinson has kindly donated four tickets to his upcoming world tour to the Reverse Rett charity auction.
The We Made It singer’s first solo tour which went on general sale and has already sold out in some cities and there has even had extra dates put on in due to the demand for tickets in London, LA and New York.
Louis has given four tickets for his sold UK leg of the tour to the Reverse Rett charity auction as he has a personal connection to the charity, as family friend Georgie Edwards suffered from the condition. Louis’s Mum Johannah introduced the pair in 2015, after spotting an online campaign on Facebook by Georgie’s family to help Georgie meet him. The campaign caught his mums attention who arranged for Georgie and her family to go backstage at one of One Direction’s tour dates, where Georgie met Louis and the rest of the band.
Johannah and Louis kept in touch with Georgie and her family, even sending gifts for her big brother Charlie. Sadly Georgie passed away in 2018.
Louis’s support for raising awareness of the neurological disorder which affects the nervous systems ability to function and can cause problems with motor skills, general cognition and sensory function, continued when he met Rhea Kara in 2016 at the Pride of Britain awards, who was fundraising for her friend Hanna who was also affected by the syndrome.
He entered into a bidding war with Simon Cowell and bought her painting for £15,000.
