Louis Tomlinson Praised For His Voice In ‘End Of The Day’

If you’re a fan of One Direction or if you just know of Louis Tomlinson, you most likely know that Louis gets a lot of hate for his voice. If we are being honest here, yes it’s true that he doesn’t have the strongest voice in the band, but that doesn’t mean that it’s not good. It’s also not right to make fun of something that someone is obviously insecure about. In the past, Louis has talked about not being confident with his voice and he even got to the point where he was wondering why he was even in the band.

In One Direction’s ‘Who We Are’ autobiography, Louis said “I’m the type of person who likes being the center of attention. For the whole of The X Factor I didn’t have a solo which, for me, was a tough pill to swallow. I was delighted but at the same time, couldn’t really understand why I was in the band. That was really low, that feeling of not having a purpose, of just being along for the ride.”

In the audio version of the autobiography, Louis said “Those early recording sessions were like a strange contrast for me because I went through the whole The X-Factor and didn’t have a solo. And that was tough for me because from going to school and liking to be center of attention and that it was a big different kind of lifestyle change in a way. I don’t mean that in an arrogant way, y’know? It was just completely different, which was hard to deal with and it was often sometimes when I’d stand there and wonder how much of the comments were relevant to me because my contribution to the band, in my opinion at that time, was so small. So, y’know, obviously I was delighted to be in the band and it was an amazing opportunity but on The X Factor, I did have a little bit of struggle. And that’s why when it came round to recording the album and it’s only really been since probably Midnight Memories, that album, that I felt comfortable with my voice. So it’s all just been a learning curve from there, really. But sometimes, on stage, I might feel, or have done in the past, but especially this time I feel much more confident. Y’know, it can be an intimidating thing especially at the start when it was so alien to all of us. But, it’s kind of good to learn and come out the other end. I’m very, very happy now.”louis tomlinson

One Direction’s new song ‘End of the Day‘ is out and let me tell you, Louis’ high note is on point. His voice in ‘End of the Day’ is so good that everyone, whether they are a fan or not is talking about it. It has come to the point where people are actually writing articles about Louis that aren’t about drugs, bad behavior, hating Harry Styles, becoming a baby daddy (or not) and so on. It’s always nice to see the boys of One Direction get recognized for something great instead of outrageous rumors.

As you can see from the ‘Who We Are‘ autobiography, it was not an easy ride for Louis, but here he is in One Direction 5 years later and getting praised for something that he was so insecure about. Honestly, how amazing is that? Oh, it’s also rumored that Louis has a lot of high notes in Made In The A.M!

The official One Direction twitter posted a video of Louis talking about ‘End of the Day’ and he had a lot to say about the new track. You can watch what he had to say about it below.
