Less than 24 hours after winning this year’s X Factor, Louisa Johnson is sitting pretty at the top of the UK iTunes Chart.
The 17 year old, the youngest winner in X Factor history, beat duo Reggie and Bollie to take this year’s crown. She performed her version of the winner’s single, Bob Dylan’s ‘Forever Young’, on the show last night which secured her win.
This year’s voting figures were announced after the show ended, and having topped the vote 5 out of 7 times, Louisa was most definitely a worthy winner. She also had 53.9% of the final vote.
Louisa, who was mentored by Rita Ora, tweeted her excitement about being number one earlier this morning.

However, the official chart is also made up of physical sales, streaming and other downloads so we will have to wait until Friday to see if Louisa can get an official number one under her belt!
Will she also be able to keep up the momentum and win the race to claim the coveted title of Christmas number one, which will be revealed on Christmas Day?
Either way, by downloading ‘Forever Young’ you will be helping to raise money for two worthy charities. Simon Cowell said “In 2015, raising funds for hospice care is more important than ever, and both Together for Short Lives and Shooting Star Chase are important charities which support children all over the country. The money we raise will make a real difference.” The government has also waived the VAT on song sales.
We at CelebMix would like to say a huge congratulations to Louisa, good luck for the future!
