British pop powerhouse Louise makes her presence felt in a MAJOR way today (February 13th) with the release of her brand new single ‘Confession’ – an intoxicating slice of experimental electro-pop, that sees the ‘One Kiss From Heaven’ singer unapologetically lay bare each one of her purest desires.
Serving as the lead track to be lifted off of her highly anticipated fifth studio album, the captivating song sees Lou team up with 3x GRAMMY-nominated songwriter and producer Jon Shave (Charli XCX), Anya Jones (Say Now) and Wayne Hector (Kylie Minogue), to produce perhaps the most daring, and innovative music of her career thus far.

Lyrically inspired by the first flashes of passion, ‘Confession’ finds Louise in a place of ecstasy and rapture, her unbridled joy in finding new love mirrored to perfection in the songs shimmering musical production, with its pulsating, electronic baseline and sultry melody, colliding across the top of Shave’s killer beat to create something of a pop firestorm.
The magnetic allure of the enchanting track however lies in the compelling nature of Louise’s soulful vocal, as she playfully explores each of the different tones and textures of her voice to deliver the songs flirtatious lyrics with ease.
“Take me out tonight, and maybe sparks will fly,” the star teases with a sense of authority, before disclosing: “I got a confession I think about your bedroom, and what perfume I’d be wearing if I fell into your bed…”

In 2019 she solidified her return to music with a stream of critically acclaimed singles, including ‘Stretch’ and ‘Lead Me On’, and the release of her first album in 16 years ‘Heavy Love’.
