After a whirlwind romance as portrayed on ITV2 reality TV show ‘Love Island,’ former contestants Dom Lever and Jessica Shears have announced their engagement.
Jessica sent out a tweet regarding the exciting news:

The couple exclusively revealed the news to OK! Magazine, and ‘Love Island’ fans have been left both shocked but also overjoyed for the loved-up couple.
Despite only meeting a couple of months ago on ‘Love Island’ and having what could only be described as nothing short of a whirlwind and slightly turbulent journey, the couple are no doubt excited about their future together and are already planning ahead.
Dom and Jess have lived the start of their relationship under the public eye, and have faced many challenges to their relationship – not least being separated for a long period of time and various rumours surfacing regarding Jessica’s loyalty once she had left the villa.
