Mariah Carey’s ‘All I Want For Christmas Is You’ Turns 24

The holiday season is officially upon us and it is that time of year again to put on one of the most cherished Christmas songs of all time. Yes, Mariah Carey released her iconic Christmas song, All I Want For Christmas Is You on November 1st, 1994.

We believe that November 1st is the perfect time to get into the holiday spirit. Maybe it’s a bit too early to get your decorations out, but it’s never too early to start thinking about what you’re going to get your friends or family. We’ve already been seeing holiday commercials on TV and we’re so excited for the season! What better way to celebrate the holidays than with a classic Mariah song playing?

Along with the iconic All I Want For Christmas Is You, Mariah released a Christmas album that is filled with other Christmas hits including Santa Claus Is Comin’ To Town and O Holy Night.

When the song was first released, it hit #1 in many countries. It also hit #1 on the US Holiday 100.

The song is currently at #1 on her Spotify artist page and has over 334 million streams. Each holiday season, the hit song is played on radio stations and it always makes a reappearance on the charts. As of November 2nd, the song has officially made it back on the iTunes top 100.

The music video was soon released following the song and it now has over 420 million views and 1.6 million likes.
