Mark Cuban Donates 1 Million Dollars To Dallas DP To Help “Protect The LGBT Community”

In the wake of the Orlando shooting, Mark Cuban will be donating 1 million dollars to the Dallas Police Department. The DP chief officer David Brown has stated that:

These funds will be used primarily to protect the LGBT community. We will earmark and track the expenditure of these funds to ensure its effective use in creating a safe environment.

According to ABC 10 News, Dallas Mayor Mike Rawlings showed his major appreciation for the kind act by saying that people like Mark Cuban have always should devotion in helping out the Dallas community and any community in need.

Approvingly so, Cuban has donated to past charities as well including the iBelieve foundation. He’s continually shown support for the LGBTQ+ community and even commented on the acceptance of gay players in the NBA.

A couple years ago when interviewed with TMZ, Cuban commented:

“I think there’ll be guys who’ll come out of the closet and continue to play in the NBA and be accepted. It will be more of a media sensation, than a player issue”.

Thank you Mark Cuban for continually showing your support for the LGBTQ+ community and for understanding that any act of kindness is always truly appreciated by all.
