Uptown Funk hitmaker Mark Ronson has revealed that superstar rapper Drake turned down the chance to work on his hit album Uptown Special.
Despite working with massive stars such as Bruno Mars on the massive No 1 hit single ‘Uptown Funk’ and the late Amy Winehouse on the huge track ‘Valerie.
Ronson revealed to Alan Carr on Chatty Man that some singers still turn down the chance to work with him saying:
“Well you know, just because I decide I want someone on a song doesn’t mean they’re not doing their own record or have their own thing.“There were a few people I asked to be on the record but they were either busy or working on their own thing. A few people have said no. I am not going to say names, Drake.“He was very polite about it.”
