Dutch superstar Martin Garrix has teamed up with pop princess Dua Lipa to release ‘Scared To Be Lonely’; a progressive EDM banger that’s nothing short of perfect!
The talented duo premiered the official ‘Scared To Be Lonely’ video yesterday and in less than 48 hours, it’s been viewed more than 4 million times. With every minute, that figure continues to rise. It’s safe to say that the single has certainly lived up to the hype.
In the video, stunning shots of Martin and Dua exploring the woods are intertwined with clips of heartbreak and broken relationships. It’s a winning combination.
Fueled with emotive lyrics and a majestic hook, the song itself is lyrically about the fear of loneliness. Reflecting on the demise of a relationship, Dua sings: “Is the only reason you’re holding me tonight ’cause we’re scared to be lonely?”
‘Scared To Be Lonely’ is available here on iTunes. With a futuristic beat and some seriously incredible vocals, the anthem is sure to be heard on dancefloors everywhere very soon. It definitely has the potential to be one of this year’s biggest songs.
The track follows Martin Garrix and Bebe Rexha’s smash hit ‘In The Name Of Love‘ which has been certified platinum in various countries. Dua Lipa is also enjoying huge success as ‘Be The One‘ and her Sean Paul duet ‘No Lie‘ are storming up the charts.
