British duo Max & Harvey link up with actress, singer and dancer Jayden Bartels on ‘Electric’, released today.
“I just got out of a two-year relationship, I’m not ready to be jumpin’ in nothing like this yet”, Bartels sings before Max & Harvey join for, “You’re the one that I want to get used to, You’re the one that I want but it’s too soon”.
Written by Jason Wu, Jeffrey Patrick Lewis and Sidnie Tipton Sims, the stripped-back pop ballad sees Bartels and Max & Harvey decide if it’s too soon to move on to a new love.
Bartel’s eighth release since debuting with ‘Can’t Help Me Now’, the breezy summer ditty comes straight from her ballpark of hits. A new direction for Max & Harvey, however, whose breakthrough upbeat pop flicks landed in a full body Coming Soon EP earlier this year, ‘Electric’ sees the duo break new ground.
