London-based producer Fabich has been making waves with his groovy flicks ever since 2016. Now, he teams up with Jay Fly and Shaefri on his summer single ‘Hundred’.
Upbeat and catchy, ‘Hundred’ was born for summer playlists. The roping in of Jay Fly’s Nigeria-hailing silky hip-hop vocals and Shaefri’s knack of knitting together quirky pop, she’s worked with Major Lazer, Christine and the Queens and Daft Punk to name a few, a clever move from the producer.

“I did this one together with Jae Fly and Shaefri while we were on a writing camp in Paris”, Fabich tells CelebMix. “A writing camp is always a lot of fun because you go to a different city to work with people from all over the world. It’s interesting that even though we’ve never met before, that after a few conversations and getting to know each other better, you start to connect on a deeper level and than creating something together that hasn’t been there before.”
The electricity of new minds and cultures moving is evident on ‘Hundred’ as the vocalists call to “celebrate the night, it’s that time of the season”.
“The music I do incorporates a lot of different genres but for me it’s all about the vibe. In my DJ sets I like to play music from different eras, from Disco to House and funk – but ALWAYS with a feel good vibe.”
It’s a Fabich attitude that was born from the early age of 15 when he started DJing and playing around remixing tracks before starting his career off music-making at Bob Marley’s estate. From that moment, the music hasn’t stopped flowing.
“I love being in the studio to create new music and my goal right now is to release a new song every month or so. It’s all about having fun in the studio for me and then getting the music out there.”
A team-up with Olivia Nelson and SAINT WKND on ‘Elevation’ has already followed-up ‘Hundred’ this month. Another groovy collaboration dripping in summer rays, fans already ready for next month’s new taste of music.
