Meghan Trainor has confirmed the title and release date of her forthcoming third album and in the process, has also dropped a new track for our enjoyment.
Treat Myself will be released on August 31 and is available to pre-order now. The album will include her previous tracks ‘No Excuses’, ‘Let You Be Right’, and ‘Can’t Dance’, in addition to the newly released ‘All The Ways’.
Showcasing yet another side to the talented songstress, ‘All The Ways’ is a bright and boncy offering which will make you feel warm and fuzzy inside. Armed with an infectious hook and a slight hint of guitar and 80’s synths, the track is a loved up, radio-friendly bop which we cannot get enough of.
We’ll be hearing a lot more of ‘All The Ways’ very soon as it is set to be the soundtrack to Target’s new marketing campaign, which launches on June 24. The campaign will focus on the retailer’s numerous fulfilment services such as same-day delivery with Shipt and Drive up.
Fans can also pre-order a Target Exclusive version of Treat Myself from the Target website, which will include exclusive remixes of ‘All The Ways’.
Take a listen to ‘All The Ways’ below.
Taking into consideration all four of her new releases so far, Treat Myself looks set to be Meghan’s most cohesive album yet and we couldn’t be more excited to hear it in full.
Speaking about Treat Myself, Meghan said: “This album is my best work yet and I’m so proud of what we made. I say “we” because I made this entire album with my family, my friends, and my fiancé. It’s everything I stand for and I’m excited to put an upbeat happy album out for the world.”
Not only is Meghan taking over our playlists, but she’s also currently taking over our TV screens. The new series of The Four continues on Fox tonight, where Meghan appears as a coach. She will also be performing at the Radio Disney Music Awards on Saturday, in addition to appearances on Today and The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon later this month.
