Miguel releases new album ‘War & Leisure’

Grammy Award-winning singer and songwriter Miguel is back with his brand new album, War & Leisure. Described as his ‘most upbeat’ album, his fourth offering dropped on Friday and includes the previously released ‘Sky Walker’ featuring Travis Scott and ‘Pineapple Skies’.

In addition to releasing the album, Miguel has confirmed that his new single will be ‘Told You So’. He recently dropped the iconic visual for the track, which was actually filmed in 2016. Directed by Karim Hu Do, the visual sees Miguel travelling through the desert in the midst of world destruction.

If that wasn’t enough, Miguel has also dropped a visual for the final album track, ‘Now’. The politically charged offering sees the singer travel to the California desert to perform the song at a political rally. The rally takes place near the Adelanto High Desert Detention Center, a temporary home to federal immigration detainees predominantly from Mexico, Haiti, and Central America.

‘Sky Walker’ follows on from the critically-acclaimed 2015 album Wildheart. It is available now on all digital and streaming retailers, in addition to Miguel’s online shop, where you can also purchase War & Leisure merchandise bundles designed by famed LA designer Alex James from PLEASURES.

If you want to see Miguel perform these new songs live, he will be heading out on a huge tour with SiR and Nonchalant Savant next year. Check out the full list of dates below.

Miguel recently gave fans a taste of what they can expect from his tour after performing at the 2017 Victoria’s Secret Fashion Show in Shanghai. The show is available exclusively on Hayu until it premieres on UK TV on 4Music on Monday, December 4th.
