The Voice, which will be beginning it’s 11th season later this year, is one of the most popular TV talent competitions. The coaching panel, made up of a number of celebrities, gets to create their own little “team” based solely off the contestants voices. The celebrities spend the following weeks critiquing, mentoring, and working with their group artists to improve their talents. Public voting is held, and the last artist standing is deemed winner.
The show has had a number of celebrity coaches throughout it’s time on television, from Adam Levine, to Blake Shelton, to Pharrell Williams, to Shakira. But with Miley Cyrus as their latest choice, it’s creating quite a stir, with some long time fans of the show threatening to skip out on this season. There’s even multiple petitions floating around the internet trying to get her pulled from season 11.
Miley Cyrus on the voice next season? Uhm no I will NOT be watching. That's just terrible this will be the first time I miss a season!

We, for one, are pretty excited to see what Miss Cyrus has in store for the show. One things for certain, she will definitely keep us entertained, and her outfits will probably always be the talk of the night.
This won’t be Miley’s first appearance on The Voice. On Monday, she was brought on as a guest mentor for one episode, where she worked with the remaining group of competitors and gave them tips, tricks, and advice on how to win the competition. But being a coach will definitely come with more responsibility. Is Miley up for it?
Miley will also be joined by another new coach, Alicia Keys. The two women will be taking the places of Pharrell and Christina Aguliera.
