Everyone loves an ugly Christmas jumper, don’t they? You know what we mean. The jumper that has been gathering dust in the back corner of your closet for the last twelve months. It can easily be recognised in the darkest of rooms due to its protruding reindeer nose or flashing lights, or if you’re lucky then it will have both of these features at the same time. A few years ago it would have been something that your Grandmother bought for you because she thought that you would look “cute” in it but nowadays it is one of the most fashionable items that you can own.
Moral of the story: your Grandmother is always right.
So what if we told you that you can buy one of these ugly jumpers for a good cause? And what if we were to add that they were designed by some of your favourite musicians?
A handful of musicians have teamed up with the CapThat company to design a range of Christmas jumpers that are, well, ugly. The jumpers have been created for an amazing cause though, as they are benefitting Musicians On Call which is an organisation that aims to, “bring music to the people who need it the most.” You can check out some of the incredible work they have done over the years by visiting their official website, here.
The festive jumpers are going to be sold as part of the Musician On Call’s Deck The Halls campaign which will celebrate its big launch on 8th December in New York City with an event that will feature a performance from singer Ellie Goulding and an appearance by iHeartRadio host Elvis Duran.
The selection of Christmas jumpers available have all been designed by the musicians themselves so they each feature a personal touch which you won’t be able to buy from anywhere else. For example, the jumper that country singer and songwriter Sara Evans designed includes a nod to her song, “A Little Bit Stronger,” and we can’t imagine DNCE’s jumper looking any other way…

Once you have chosen a jumper, you can purchase it right here.
Musicians On Call is also auctioning off signed guitars and other forms of memorabilia from artists such as Kelly Clarkson, Nick Jonas, Ed Sheeran, The Weekend and more but we definitely have our eyes set on an ugly Christmas jumper.
If you buy one of these, you will definitely make it onto Santa’s “Good” list.
