Earlier this year, we introduced you to all-girl rock band Nasty Cherry. Discovered by Charli XCX, they released their debut single ‘Win’ via her label, Vroom Vroom Recordings, and now the four-piece are ready to captivate once more with their latest single ‘What Do You Like In Me’.

Armed with a hypnotic tone, ‘What Do You Like In Me’ is a mellow and hazy offering from Nasty Cherry, which sees lead singer Gabbriette musing over the demands and drains of relationships online and offline. The track came together in one day in Los Angeles and was written with French production trio Planet 1999.

Alongside the track, a music video has also been unveiled which was produced and co-directed by Gabbriette and creative Indiana Piorek. The retro visual is a quirky offering which perfectly embodies the song and the band’s aura.

Speaking about the track and video, Gabbriette said: “The song is personal to all of us….Indiana and I wanted to create a world that felt familiar and timeless and let the song speak for itself. We used all of our own clothes and “props” from our homes and friends to help out…it was a wonderful collaboration that I’m so happy was born.”

Watch the music video for ‘What Do You Like In Me’ below.

‘What Do You Like In Me’ follows on from ‘Win’, which was well received by tastemakers, firmly cementing them as ones to watch in the industry.

If you want to see Nasty Cherry live, they will be performing a showcase at Baby’s All Right in New York on June 18. Tickets are available here now.

‘What Do You Like In Me’ is out now.
