Natasha Hamilton steps into a more luminous chapter of her artistry with the release of her haunting new single, ‘White Feather’ – out today! The track arrives as the latest preview of her forthcoming EP ‘Extraction’, set for release on July 3rd 2026, and marks one of Hamilton’s most emotionally resonant and deeply personal releases to date.

Following the shadowy introspection and emotional unraveling explored in the earlier chapters of ‘Extraction’, ‘White Feather’ feels like a quiet breath of hope cutting through the darkness. Delicate yet powerful, the song captures the fragile moments of clarity that emerge in the aftermath of grief, heartbreak, and transformation – those subtle signs that remind us we are still being guided forward, even when life feels uncertain.

At the heart of the track is Hamilton’s connection to her late Grandmother, whose memory becomes both anchor and compass throughout the song. Drawing on themes of nostalgia, spirituality, family bonds, and lost innocence, the heartfelt single explores the deeply human desire to search for meaning during life’s most difficult moments. The single balances vulnerability with warmth, offering listeners not just reflection, but reassurance.

Layered with cinematic emotion and intimate songwriting, Natasha’s vocals carry a raw sincerity that elevates the track beyond a standard ballad. Instead, ‘White Feather’ unfolds like a personal diary entry – one that invites listeners to reconnect with their own memories, grief, and quiet moments of faith.

Commenting on the release, the ’Numb’ singer says: “I think in the world we’re living in right now, people need hope. We need to believe there’s something bigger guiding us through difficult moments. ‘White Feather’ is about holding onto faith when life feels uncertain, but it’s also about reconnecting with the innocence we lose along the way.”

The single’s accompanying music video deepens the song’s themes of family, memory, and nostalgia, turning the visual into an intimate portrait of Natasha Hamilton’s personal world. Her daughter, Ella, appears as a younger version of Natasha, while her mother takes on the poignant role of her late Grandmother and her father makes a cameo as a barman. The video also features Natasha’s husband alongside a number of devoted fans, giving the project an unmistakably personal touch. More than a traditional music video, ‘White Feather’ becomes a living collage of love, remembrance, and human connection – blurring the line between art and real life.

Reflecting on the deeply personal experience of filming the video, Hamilton shares: “Making this with my family around me made it incredibly emotional because it became about memory, legacy and love just as much as the music itself.”
