Unveiling his heart and soul, Los Angeles based Americana meets rock artist Nate Amor reveals an intimate perspective on his journey of self-discovery through his raw composition, “I Know Me”. The artist, who grew up wildly inspired by legendary artists such as Elvis and the Beach Boys, uses ” the power of lyrics as a positive and transformational force.”
The melody of “I Know Me” is a soft symphony of acoustic guitar cadences, beautifully merged with a tranquil tempo, a testament to his skilled musicianship. Nate’s vocals, an exquisite blend of warmth and sincerity, breathes life into the melody, making it clear that each lyric is imprinted with his emotional essence. Nate confides, “I wrote the lyrics: ‘One Step Back, I keep falling One step back’….I just keep on thinking everything will be alright, but I know me. Insanity has this old cliche definition: ‘doing the same thing over and over expecting a different result.’ For me, this song speaks to that insanity. How many times have I told myself… ‘this is the last time.’ How many times have I lied to my friends and family? This time it will be different. I can handle it now. Cliches became cliches for a reason…. I Know Me.”
Nate has not only graced the screen as a contestant on NBC’s “The Voice”, but has also shared the spotlight with big names like Train, Mat Kearney, and Marc Cohn. He now lends his powerful vocals to the renowned Trans-Siberian Orchestra, another accolade to his burgeoning musical career.
