As well as his golden vocals, one thing we love about Nathan Sykes is his creative music videos. From the slick ‘Kiss Me Quick’, the emotional rollercoaster that was ‘Over and Over Again’, to the oh so steamy ‘Give It Up’, Nathan continuously delivers impressive videos which fit the tone of his songs perfectly.
During a Facebook stream last week, Nathan told fans to look out for something on Instagram. He then posted a picture of himself from the set of the video for his latest single ‘Famous’, with the date ‘181016’. Over the past few days, he continued to tease fans with pictures, making everyone excited for what he had in store.
Today, he’s surprised everyone by unveiling the music video for ‘Famous’ one day early (Nathan’s super sweet like that), and has once again excelled himself on the visual front.
‘Famous’ is an emotional ballad, and during the video this has been reflected by an on-set relationship. In the video, Nathan is an actor who falls for his beautiful co-star. Unfortunately, she’s romantically involved with the director and runs to him at every opportunity. Just when Nathan thinks he has a chance, the director turns up again. As the video develops, we see a potential turning point, but will Nathan get the girl of his dreams? You’ll have to watch to find out!
Whether he gets the girl or not, we definitely think that Nathan should consider acting as a career sideline at some point. Similarly to ‘Over and Over Again’, and as with every live performance, he’s once again proven that he is superb at delivering something powerful and heart-breaking.

Speaking of the meaning behind the track with Digital Spy earlier this month, Nathan said: “After The Wanted took a break, the person I wrote the song about, I was talking to when I was in the band. Then all of a sudden we took the break and they stopped talking to me.”
“I was like, ‘That’s kind of shallow. That’s alright, they’ll call me when I’m famous.’ Lo and behold, I released ‘Kiss Me Quick’ and they text me straight away.
“I’m like, ‘Really? You can’t be that shallow?’ It’s funny how some people work.”
We’d still call you if you were famous or not Nathan!
‘Famous’ is available to download now, and has been lifted from Nathan Sykes’ debut solo album Unfinished Business, which is due for release on November 11.
