Natisa Gogol is a Ukrainian refugee who uses music to uplift her home community in the face of oppression. Her latest single, “Aesthetics”, is a buzzing, cutting edge pop song dedicated to the LGBTQ+ community as Gogol advocates for global acceptance and equal rights.

“Aesthetics” is a dystopian wonderland with rhythmic strikes of percussion, lush cascades of strings, and tide-turning beats all captained by Natisa Gogol’s magnetic vocal. The music video chronicles an avant-garde romance between Gogol and a woman under the influence of artificial intelligence. Gogol makes a statement by showing the dark reality of how the future could unfold should those in power abuse their authority. Deeply devoted, she sings, “Billions of lives ago, you brushed my soul. In any universe I’ll find your trace – I never could forget your face.” “Aesthetics” is a groundbreaking saga that is sure to inspire hope in the Ukrainian LGBTQ+ population with earth-shaking sonics and a powerful romance at the core.

Natisa Gogol was born in Dnipro, Ukraine where she built her life and explored her passion for music from a very young age. She fled Ukraine amidst a series of violent attacks and knew that once she was safe, she’d use music to retaliate. “Aesthetics” is her latest release, further pushing Natisa Gogol’s tireless fight for social justice to the surface.
