Calvin Harris’ new track Ole was not written about his ex Taylor Swift, insiders have claimed.
Earlier today, reports broke out that the Scottish DJ and singer was set to release a brand new song, featuring John Newman, based upon his and Taylor’s breakup.
It was also claimed by several media outlets that Swift CHEATED on Calvin, as it featured lyrics sure to cause speculation.
Lyrics include: “I see online that you begun to be a good girl and take trips with your boyfriend.”
“You’ve hidden my name in your phone so you can call me to tell me you’ve been going through hell. Left him alone and you booked in a hotel.”
But according to TMZ, these claims are completely false with inside ‘sources’ suggesting otherwise. They say work began on the track way before the pair split and before Tom and Taylor made their first appearance together at the Met Ball in May. Saying: ‘if Calvin claims he wasn’t working on the Met Ball, he’s lying.’
Some argue Calvin is attempting to gain publicity through his recent break-up.
However, they say the song was written from a guys point of view. And based upon a bad relationship that results in the girl messaging another man.
Taylor Swift and Calvin Harris split back in June as Taylor entered a new relationship with British actor, Tom Hiddleston.
