New Kids On The Block have released the music video for their track ‘Thankful’.
The video is predominantly in black and white, as we get an insight into life on the road with NKOTB. The band, made up of Danny Wood, Donnie Wahlberg, Joey McIntyre, Jonathan Knight and Jordan Knight, are seen preparing for their live show, enjoying quality time with their family, doing interviews and working out.
We are also treated to several beautiful shots of the band meeting some of their loyal fans. There are plenty of smiles, hugs and laughs to go around and it’s evident to see how truly appreciative New Kids On The Block are of their supporters.
As the band burst onto the stage, the visual is filled with colour and we can see how NKOTB immerse themselves in the audience. From the clips shown, their current Total Access tour looks incredible. It’s safe to say that fans are in for a complete treat!
The visual is rounded off with sentimental shots of some of the band’s most dedicated fans. Posing with photos from the 80’s/90’s, old ticket stubs and posters, we can see that New Kids On The Block fans have remained loyal to the band over their lengthy career. ‘Thankful’ acts as the perfect band-fan song, as both NKOTB and the fans are truly thankful to have each other in their lives.

‘Thankful’ is taken from NKOTB’s EP of the name (read our review of it here). The band are currently in the middle of their Total Access Tour, with support from Paula Abdul and Boyz II Men. Tickets for the remaining shows are available from Ticketmaster.
