Leave it to Billy Ray Cyrus to toy with our “achy breaky” hearts.
On Tuesday, Miley’s father took to Twitter to share a now-deleted-tweet of the fellow Hannah Montana alum wearing a frilly, soft pink dress with her hair elegantly blowing in the wind.
“Looks like it’s time to rock n roll @MileyCyrus #happy Excited to hear more of the new stuff !!!!! Turn it loose !,” Billy wrote underneath.
Billy casually posted the same photo to Instagram last late week, with no clarification other than a vague note reading “I’m so happy…you are happy @mileycyrus.”
The caption elucidated ongoing rumors that Miles had went ahead and married longtime fiancé Liam Hemsworth. She began dating the Hunger Games star back in 2010. The couple got engaged in 2012 and temporarily called it quits before getting back together early last year.
Evidently, this post caused a great deal of speculation, leading to fan comments such as “OMG OMG OMG, did she get married?!?!” and “FREAKING OUT!”

Billy later reposted a duplicate image. This time with a new caption reading, “Whoa! Don’t jump the gun. Been at work #StillTheKing Glad to see so many love @MileyCyrus the same as I do #happy.”

So, after Billy Ray’s slip-up we now know that wedding bells can’t be heard, but from a distance, new music can.
After temporarily parting from her coaching duties this season on The Voice, we are left to believe that her sole focus is on music. Not to mention, she shared this photo just five weeks ago from inside of her fuzzy, vibrant studio.

The “Wrecking Ball” singer is also rumored to feature on a new Mike WiLL Made-It track titled “Razzle Dazzle,” which is slated to drop next month. The artist/producer teamed up with Miley in the past for “23,” in addition to his various production credits on her breakthrough record Bangerz.
Her sixth album will follow-up the 2017 surprise release project Miley Cyrus & Her Dead Petz.
