Gosh, we feel like we’ve been waiting forever but it’s finally here!
Shawn Mendes’ new single “Treat You Better” is here and available for purchase on iTunes.
Shawn made the announcement of his new single during the 2016 Billboard Music Awards on May 22nd (with a surprise teaser from Shazam during the commercial break) which surprised not only us but many of his fans around the world!
To further promote his new single, Shawn has been posting countdown videos on Twitter and Instagram with little snippits of the song to hype up his fans.
And get this…
To hype up the fans even further, Shawn did a little Q&A on Twitter a couple hours before the single was set to be released.

Shawn may be on a break from his massive world tour, but he definitely wanted to take the opportunity to release some new music to some very anxious fans (like us!)
