Mariah’s World is a new documentary series focusing on the Grammy-winning artist, Mariah Carey. The show will follow Mariah, as she starts her “Sweet Sweet Fantasy” world tour in the UK, Europe, and Africa. Since it will be her first tour in over ten years, the singer decided to document her life. She also plans to keep a record for both her fans and her children.
Fans who tune into the show will also join along on Mariah’s journey as she plans her wedding with James Packer. In the trailer, she is seen trying on a wedding dress and making preparations for her big day. She suggests “white tigers and albino elephants” for her wedding. Someone on the phone can be heard saying, “We’re going to get Noah’s Ark at your wedding, I promise.” After she hangs up the call, she tells viewers that she was joking about the lavish items. Fans can only guess how big Mariah’s wedding will be!
Regarding her show, the singer states, “I don’t know that anybody really knows the real me. If you see me on TV, or in a clip, or in a video, there’s not enough time to know the real me.” She hopes that with her documentary series, fans will see another side of her.
She also adds that she’s not sure how often her children will appear on the show. Carey admits that the topic is still in discussion with her ex, Nick Cannon.
When someone asked if Nick will appear on the show, Carey states, “I can’t speak for [him]. He’s his own person. He’s cool about coming around the show.”

Mariah’s World is an eight-part documentary series that will air on Sunday, December 4, at 9 p.m. on E!
