With the kickoff to the NFL season under our belt, we decided to do a weekly recap of this weeks games. It was an action packed week for some teams- others started off a little rough.
1. Carolina Panthers at Denver Broncos
Carolina 20 (0-1)
Broncos 21 (1-0)
This week started out with the Superbowl rematch, with a pretty even and fair game. Denver’s interception of Newton’s pass and a missed field goal from Carolina’s Graham Gani with 9 seconds left sealed the deal on this game.

2. Buffalo Bills at Baltimore Ravens
Buffalo 7 (0-1)
Baltimore 13 (1-0)
Baltimore built a 10-0 lead in the first half with a touchdown from Flacco to Wallace. The Buffalo defense made it a tough one but Baltimore’s offensive line took the cake.

3. Green Bay Packers at Jacksonville Jaguars
Green Bay 27 (1-0)
Jacksonville 23 (0-1)
Green Bay’s offense was struggling early but came back in the second half. Towards the end of the game, Jacksonville converted three of their last 4th down plays but came up just short of the win.

4. Oakland Raiders at New Orleans Saints
Oakland 35 (1-0)
New Orleans 34 (0-1)
At the end of the first half withOakland trailing 17-10, big things needed to happen for a comeback. The second half proved that both teams offense and defense are a force to be reckoned with.

5. Cleveland Browns at Philadelphia Eagles
Cleveland 10 (0-1)
Eagles 29 (1-0)
After a last minute roster change, Philly came ready to win with a new head coach and a new quarterback to start the season. Cleveland fought hard but were unable to match up to Philly’s strong offensive line.

6. Miami Dolphins at Seattle Seahawks
Dolphins 10 (0-1)
Seahawks 12 (1-0)
This game was a tough one, something was clearly missing from both teams this week. Most of the game was scored by field goals, both teams fought very hard to get points on the board.

7. Detroit Lions at Indianapolis Colts
Detroit 39 (1-0)
Colts 35 (0-1)
Arguably the most intense game of the week. The Lions came out with something to prove. With the Cols gaining their speed in the second half, the Lions pushed until the final seconds to secure the win.

8. Pittsburgh Steelers at Washington Redskins
Steelers 38 (1-0)
Redskins 16 (0-1)
With a slow first quarter , the Steelers offense regained speed in the remaining three. Most of the points from the Redskins came from field goals, struggling to push through the Steelers defense.
