The video, directed by Malia James starts with clips on Niall sitting on the end of a bed as he explains why he’s waiting for someone. He then walks to the train and takes a seat, a couple walks in and you can feel his emotions, not being able to stop thinking about someone. As the video progresses, although still unsure of this feeling of being alone, he carries on with life. Although he is hanging out with friends at the pub and playing guitar he still asks the question, is it too much to ask?

The video fits perfectly with the story the song tells, making you feel the same emotions and really connect with the lyrics.

Along with the release of “Too Much To Ask”, Niall has announced his debut album Flicker, and a North American tour following its release.
