The song is a pure singer-songwriter ballad of missing someone. The lyrics draw you in with their raw emotion, and heartfelt message to someone missed.

    Waiting here for someone
Only yesterday we were on the run
You smiled back at me and your face lit up the sun
Now I’m waiting here for someone

Niall has a way of taking you back in time with his music, while still putting a modern day spin on each song. With influences like Don Henley, Fleetwood Mac and The Eagles, he is able to create his own version of folk-rock, and this song is a perfect example.

Since the release of his first single “This Town” Niall has performed on The Today Show, The Tonight Show and the 2016 AMA’s and has blow us away with every performance. Each song he has released so far has been so different from the next, yet all show just how truly incredible of an artist he is. His passion really shines through when he’s performing these songs, and we can’t wait to hear him perform “Too Much To Ask.

You can hear the song on YouTube, Apple Music and on Spotify.
