After releasing his first solo single, Niall Horan has been taking ever opportunity he can to preform the single for his fans. From morning shows to late night television, both fans and non fans have been able to fall in love with ‘This Town’.
Niall announced today on Twitter that he’s taken yet another opportunity to perform the single at the upcoming American Music Awards which sent fans into a frenzy online! He has obviously missed being on stage as much as fans have missed seeing him on it. He also tweeted about his excitement for this performance because of the amazing memories he has from the AMAs in the past.

Niall will take the stage alone for the first time at this specific awards show and it’s incredible to think about the journey it took to get him here and how many other stages he will grace with his talent and humble sense of gratitude towards the people who helped make this possible.
‘This Town’ is a song about going home, as Niall described in an interview, and seemingly about the things that change and the ones that never seen to. It’s the perfect solo single for Niall and the response from the tune has been well deserved. He was so surprised at first at how well the track did; but we weren’t. His talent paired with One Direction’s fanbase is a perfect mix; and he deserves every second of his success as he explores his solo path while the band continues their hiatus.
