Earlier today, Niall Horan tweeted a link to a charity drive for the Irish Autism Action and the Kate and Justin Rose Foundation. The drive is set to last for two weeks and in an informational blurb, Niall let everyone know that 100% of the proceeds made from sales would benefit both charities!
The charity drive is incredible enough for that reason alone – he is giving everything made through the drive away to those who will gain a lot from funding and research. What makes this drive even more incredible is the t-shirt that was designed to be purchased.
The photo is a fan favorite of Niall on stage – and you can get it in black and white – both shirts look incredible.
And apparently, everyone else thought so too because within less than 24 hours of Niall’s tweet going out, over 100,000 dollars has been raised!
We’ve said, countless times, that One Direction fans are some of the most involved and giving fans that exist, but circumstances like this one further prove how far they’re willing to go to support their favorite boys and the causes that are close to their hearts.
Not only is the amount of money raised in under 24 hours absolutely incredible, we saw many fans of One Direction offer to gift shirts to their friends, their mutuals, and even complete strangers – just because they wanted to help make a difference. These acts of compassion alongside the dedication of fans of Niall will ensure that at the end of these next two weeks, both the Irish Autism Action and the Kate and Justin Rose Foundation will benefit immensely.
