Almost three months after the clever idea was first revealed (er, tweeted), Nick Jonas has finally announced the names of his hand-picked, “fan ambassadors”.
All the way back in May, the star posted a selection of tweets explaining his decision to create a deeper connection with his fans by choosing some of them to become Team Leaders on behalf of the rest of his fan base. He later summed these tweets up in a simple Instagram post.
He then tweeted that he wanted to meet with the chosen Ambassadors during his album release week in June… This never happened as it seemed like the selection process took a bit longer than expected, but we’ll get back to that later.
Keeping his excited fans hanging, Nick waited a few days to explain how exactly they could apply for the role and it wasn’t until 3rd June when his search officially began. Once he had tweeted the relevant information about how his loyal followers could get involved, it was all systems go.

Fans began flooding their Twitter and Instagram timelines with their entries and it seemed like it was anyone’s game. The worldwide search was on and Nick Jonas fans everywhere were brimming with excitement and anticipation.

Nick has been busy on his co-headlining tour with best friend Demi Lovato so the search took longer than first anticipated but the winners were finally announced on Twitter on 9th August. They were all revealed through an account dedicated to the idea (@nickjambassador) which has already gained a respectable number of followers.
