The National Hockey League have announced that pop royalty Nick Jonas will be performing at the 2017 Honda NHL® All-Star Weekend.
Nick is just one of many star performers being lined up to perform at the weekend; Fifth Harmony, Carly Rae Jepsen, and John Legend are just some of the other big names due to perform on the Los Angeles stage this month.
The event is being organised by The Los Angeles Kings – who are celebrating their 50th anniversary – and Los Angeles will play host to the 2017 Honda NHL® All-Star Weekend; January, 26th-29th.
Canadian singer Carly Rae Jepsen will open the 2017 Honda NHL® All-Star Game pre-game celebrations at the iconic STAPLES Center on Sunday, January, 29th with a performance of the Canadian national anthem. Her performance will be followed by Fifth Harmony’s rendition of the American national anthem.
While pop superstar Nick Jonas, will take to the ice during the second intermission with a live performance.
The NHL Chief Content Officer and Executive Vice President, Steve Mayor spoke of the line-up, saying: “We are pleased with the incredible lineup of entertainment that we put together for the 2017 Honda NHL All-Star Weekend. The All-Star Weekend will feature three days of can’t-miss events, including THE NHL100 celebration on Friday night, in a weekend where hockey takes over Hollywood. We are excited for Nick Jonas, Fifth Harmony and Carly Rae Jepsen’s All-Star Game performances for our fans in L.A and those watching around the world.”
More special guests, including celebrity coaches and hosts, will be announced in the next few days.
